Interview with Experienced Employees
Why did you choose to work in this field?
Mr.M
The challenges of continuing in the restaurant industry during the COVID-19 pandemic made me look for a more stable career. I became interested in the IT industry because of its potential for growth and the opportunity to develop diverse skills.
Mr.N
I attended a vocational IT school, which led to my employment at RapidAct after graduation. Under the guidance of our CEO, I developed a passion for infrastructure engineering. Currently, I am engaged in server construction and renewal projects in the energy and financial sectors.
Can you share a memorable episode from your work?
Mr.M
Early in my career, there was a technical issue where a server unexpectedly failed during an important system update. Due to flaws in the operational manual, unintended modifications were made to critical data, causing a malfunction in the system. From this experience, I learned the value of careful procedure validation and a comprehensive understanding of system operations when handling critical tasks with significant potential impacts.
Is it okay even if I don't have any experience in this field?
Mr.T
After graduating from a vocational school, I joined the company as a new graduate. I majored in programming, but after joining, I became interested in IT infrastructure projects and participated in them. Initially, I had very little knowledge about IT infrastructure but President Kuboyama and my senior colleagues took the time to teach me thoroughly.
What do you find appealing about this company?
Mr.T
Being able to try various things is what makes it appealing. A senior employee, who often provides ideas for new company study programs and benefits, invited me to join in implementing fresh and innovative concepts, like keeping a small plants at our desks. This has made our workplace enjoyable and engaging.
Do you offer support for certification acquisition?
Mr.T
Yes, there is. During my student days, I obtained the Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination certification but If there were study sessions for it like we have in this company I would have liked to participate in one. Additionally, there's a reward system for obtaining certifications, so I'm thinking of challenging the Applied Information Technology Engineer Examination next.
Did you notice any differences between the expectations before joining the company and the reality after joining?
Ms.I
I had been watching the 'Rapijo channel' before I started working at the company, so there was no discrepancy between what I expected and what I experienced at work.
Every coworker is friendly and the environment is free from stress, enabling me to engage in my work with a positive outlook.
